
Richard Lesmoir-Gordon is a retired banker. He has lived and worked in London, New York, Buenos Aires, Tokyo and Singapore and now lives in France. He has also co-written and is co-producing a musical that centres on the May 1968 uprising in Paris. Richard is married, with two children and three grandchildren.
Having studied French history as an undergraduate at Cambridge, Richard returned to that subject after his retirement in 2015, completing an M. Phil and then a D. Phil at St. Antony’s College, Oxford. One Summer in Quercy is based on research done for his doctoral thesis.
